The ArjVol package actually contains two utilities. ArjVol and Unarj.
ArjVol is a front end utility that will allow you to create multiple Arj Volumes in DOS.
Unarj is a front end utility that will put multiple Arj Volumes back together in DOS. |

| If you are like many people who still don't any type of drive bigger than a 1.44 floppy, you know the problem when you try to back up your copy of Netscape or some other really big file. They just won't fit onto a single floppy. This set of utilities are designed to make it easy for you to do just that. |

ArjVol
command line example: Arjvol (size) (original file with NO extension)
You have the following size options for your volumes:
360 Just the right size for low density 5.25" disks
720 Great for low density 3.5" disks
1200 This is perfect for 1.22 meg floppies.
1440 The exact size of your 3.5" 1.44 meg floppies
Unarj
command line example: Unarj test.arj
All you have to do is give the Unarj.exe the name of the first archive in the group of volumes, in this example it was test.arj it will quietly and cleanly unpack them, then it will give you a "dir" listing and exit. |

Make sure when you run ArjVol that only the file you wish to be split is in the current directory. Any other files residing there will be added to your new archive as well.
For this program to work properly you must have the ARJ.exe archiver, it also has to be in your path statement.
